Each year thousands of homeless pets are temporarily placed in Humane Societies across the country. Some pets arrive because they are unwanted, abandoned or abused. Others simply because their loving owners can no longer care for them due to health or financial difficulties. Unforgettable Impressions Pet Photography is teaming up with PSPCA's Montrose Adoption Center to get these homeless pets adopted. Every few weeks Lindsey photographs animals that have recently arrived at the Montrose Adoption Center. These photos are placed online and in the local newspaper to encourage people to stop in and adopt a homeless animal.
Unforgettable Impressions Pet Photography is also working on a new and exciting project, a Pet Calendar that will be sold to raise money for the animal shelter. This is a non profit sale and all money will go directly for caring for the dogs and cats at the Humane Society. Dogs and cats from Montrose Adoption Center as well as pets from Lindsey's regular clients will be featured on this calendar. While many animals have found loving shelter in people's homes, thousands of others find themselves in crowded, sterile facilities. By purchasing one of these pet calendars you are perhaps giving one of these animals another opportunity to find a home.
We have had such a wonderful time photographing all of our pet models over the last few weeks and have so greatly enjoyed becoming part of our local animal shelter! We would now like to invite anyone who is interested in having the chance to have their pet on our fund-raising calendar call now to book a session! Anyone who books a pet portrait session in the month of January or February will be considered for our pet calendar! This is an awesome opportunity as these calendars are going to be very special and distributed throughout several states.
Not interested in having your pet on the calendar but still would like to help out, heres what you can do. There will only be a limited number of calendars printed and they will be released in the spring. These calendars will be for half of 2010 and all of 2011 and our desk size. They will be $15.00 each. If you would like help out by purchasing one or more of these limited edition calendars we are starting our order list now so make sure to get your name on it. We appreciate any help we can get for these wonderful pets in need!
